Living in Viladellops, for more tan 20 years, we know quite well the area and we are to your disposal for any touristic, sporting and cultural information as visits of museums, monasteries, wineries. The Penedès is famous for wine turism with more than 300 cellars and 12 Denominations of Origen (Penedès, Montsant, Priorat…), a great culinar offer (advises and reservations in restaurants).
We are 20kms from the sea and its exceptional costline, among others Sitges, which attracts many intenational toursists for its famous beaches and night life.
Viladellops is a 500 hectares property located in the heart of the wine yards of el Penedès, 40km south of Barcelona. Down the hills all around Viladellops are the old ''restanques'' planted of olives trees, almond trees and of course wine yards who gave the celebrity of the property...
In this área, apart of the Viladellops winery itself, you can find and visit a lot of other very well known producers as Torres, Codorniu, Freixenet, Jean Leon...
Viladellops is located close to the Olerdola Castle which origins are estimated from even before the Iberians. The historic and strategic importance of Olerdola is perpetued through centuries, being the Middle Ages a border forteress in front of the Muslim world...
From this time still subsit more than the Olerdola Castel ruins, but in the same Viladellops itself, a surveillance high tower and the small St John chapel (XIII century).

SITGES is a catalan village belonging to the Garraf province. It is located on the Mediterranean coast at 36 km south of Barcelona, and is surrounded by 18 km of seaside, and mountains. It is over 3km from the amazing look out of Baluard to the residential área of Terramar, and the golf of Can Girona.
According to the New York Times Magazine, the best city beach in Europe.
Sitges enjoys excellent communications by road, highway and rail (newly open the high speed line between Barcelona and Paris.
The International Airport of Barcelona (El Prat) is only 10 miles away, and the one
of Reus, specialized on Low Cost, is less than 1 hour.
Thanks to the Garraf mountains,that stop the entering of cold cold winds, the área of Sitges enjoys his own micro climate with mild summers and winters, an average temperatura of 18,7o, and over 300 days of sunshine a year.
For these fantastic weather conditions, Sitges attracts thousands of tourists the whole year, during many events as the carnaval, the Fantastic Film Festival, the Vintage Car Rallye, the famous Fiesta Mayor with splendid Fireworks, Gay Pride ans bears meeting.

68 kms south of Viladellops (49kms with AP 2 / AP 7 motor ways); Tarragona is a town rich in it's historical and artistic patrimony. Of the roman time (the antic Tarraco), remains an arquelologic heritage that includes Tarragona in the World Patrimony of UNESCO.
Santa Tecla Cathedral and its cloister (XII-XIV century), city walls and medieval fortifications, a roman amphitheater and a fórum, an aqueduct and a romanesque-gothic hospital, several museums (modern art, harbour, necrópolis…) contributes to value Tarragona and of its 2000 years of history, as an attractive town of first range.
